Our Mission and Commitment

At St. Teresa of Calcutta School, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and nurturing learning environment through ongoing planning, preparedness, and continuous improvement. By regularly evaluating our safety practices and investing in security infrastructure, we strive to provide families with confidence and students with an environment where they can learn and grow.

What We Do

Our school continually reviews and enhances its safety and security practices based on current best practices and the evolving needs of our community. These efforts include investments in building security, visitor management, campus monitoring, emergency communications, access control, and other measures that support a safe and welcoming campus.

How We Prepare

Safety depends on both secure facilities and a well-prepared school community. Faculty and staff participate in regular safety and emergency preparedness training, while students take part in age-appropriate emergency drills in accordance with state requirements and school policies. Emergency plans are reviewed and updated regularly in collaboration with local public safety partners.

Looking Ahead

Recognizing that school safety is an ongoing responsibility, St. Teresa of Calcutta School continually evaluates opportunities to strengthen our campus and actively pursues grant funding and other resources to support future safety and security enhancements. Through thoughtful planning and continuous improvement, we remain committed to providing a secure, welcoming, and supportive environment where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.
